Thank you to Misha Teramura for introducing A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Misha Teramura is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Toronto. His work focuses on early modern English theater, with a special interest in lost plays. His articles have appeared in such journals as Shakespeare Quarterly, English Literary History, The Review of English Studies, and The Chaucer Review, covering such topics as Shakespeare’s sources, Elizabethan espionage, pseudo-medieval prophecies, early modern theories of friendship, and the Renaissance reception of the African playwright Terence. His current book project revisits Shakespeare’s use of Chaucer as a way to complicate recent assessments of Shakespeare as a “literary dramatist.”
Many thanks to my friend Joey Bianco of Whim Wham for the animated video elements.
