Julius Caesar: Video Introduction

Thank you to Andrea Walkden for guiding our way into Julius Caesar.

Andrea Walkden is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair of English at Queens College, CUNY. She is the author of Private Lives Made Public: The Invention of Biography in Early Modern England (Duquesne University Press, 2016), which won the 2017 John T. Shawcross Award of the Milton Society of America.

    I’m several plays behind in the Project, but am determined to now play catch up until I reach the group timeline again. As a result, I am late to the Julius Caesar party. However I wanted to say your intro was AMAZING! So thoughtfully constructed, with lots of great things to think about on multiple fronts (personal, political, societal). Thanks for bringing so many elements together for us! I’m excited to dive back into this play!
