Molly Beth Seremet is an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Mary Baldwin University, where she also serves as the Assistant Director of the Shakespeare and Performance Graduate Program. She is a devised theatremaker, dramaturg and director. Her research circulates around performing objects, object-oriented feminisms, and cyborg theatre and her writing has been published in Shakespeare Bulletin, Early Modern Culture, Platform Journal of Theatre and Performing Arts, Praxis Magazine, and in several edited collections.

An excellent introduction, bringing the themes right up to the present moment so clearly. I found the history of the story’s origins particularly interesting, never having heard about the “true crime” angle before. Brilliant ending, with Isabella’s line!
