Richard II: Video Introduction

Thank you to Louise Bishop for leading the way into Richard II.

Louise M Bishop is Associate Professor Emerita of Literature at the Robert D. Clark Honors College, University of Oregon.  A native of New Jersey, Bishop earned her Ph.D. in English from Fordham University and relocated with her family to Eugene, Oregon in 1987. An award-winning teacher, her work with Chaucer’s Middle English extends to early modern literature like Shakespeare’s plays and to “medievalism” in all its guises.  Her book,Words, Stones, and Herbs: the Healing Word in Medieval and Early Modern England, was published by Syracuse University Press in 2007.

Many thanks to my friend Joey Bianco of Whim Wham for the animated video elements.
